Hema Raju, Ph.D.

Hema works as a lead data scientist at Syneos Health LLC. She is a clinical research professional with a Ph.D. in biomedical sciences, and over a decade experience in healthcare industry including molecular wet lab and clinical trial research in both academia and industry settings. Hema has independently designed, developed, and implemented comprehensive risk-based monitoring algorithm, predictive analytics, fraud detection pipeline, on-study analytics models and solutions to improve the quality of clinical trial data. Hema has been involved in a key technical scientific role, contributing to the essential experimental design and analysis activities that support clinical product development and thus improving application of advanced analytics techniques across clinical development processes.
