ABOUT THE EVENT
The Global Women in Data Science (WiDS) Conference aims to inspire and educate data scientists worldwide, regardless of gender, and support women in the field. WiDS South Florida is an independent event organized by the WiDS South Florida Committee to coincide with the annual Global Women in Data Science (WiDS) Conference held at Stanford University and an estimated 150+ locations worldwide. All genders are invited to attend WiDS South Florida, which features outstanding women doing outstanding work.
This half-day technical conference provides an opportunity to hear about the latest data science-related research in a number of domains, learn how leading-edge companies are leveraging data science for success, and connect with potential mentors, collaborators, and others in the field.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND
The conference is open to everyone, regardless of gender, who is interested in engaging with and learning from the local data science community.
