Alicia Reese is an Account Executive for Databricks, but an even prouder alumni of the University of Miami College of Engineering, c/o 2009. She's separated millions of stem cells at patient's bedsides globally for a Swiss regenerative medicine firm, engineered and designed smart buildings and cities in Corporate America at Johnson Controls, a Global Fortune 500 company, and currently solves the world's toughest data challenges at Databricks, a hyper growth startup uniquely positioned to unite data teams and accelerate the AI journey surrounding Big Data. Alicia is a champion and relentless advocate for Women Empowerment in both business leadership and STEM, and believes in holding others accountable. Blending writing and sales expertise, Alicia has been able to build a successful copywriting business by adding in demand personality to typical, boring technical prose. Originally from Atlanta, GA, Alicia currently resides in Miami, FL. where you can find her grilling steaks for her vegetarian friends or cycling on the Venetian Causeway.
